How Mestopore works
Mestopore is a self-adhesive dressing for continent stomas. The stoma tissue is protected from injuries by a non-adherent contact layer. The stoma secretion is absorbed and retained by a highly absorbent swelling fiber matrix. The self-adhesive border is non-irritant even with frequent dressing changes and prevents the dressing from leaking. The microporous backing material is skin colored and allows the skin to breathe.

Design
Mestopore is made of a laminate of polyurethane film and a viscose nonwoven coated with a polyacrylate adhesive. A highly absorbent pad is placed in the centre of the dressing.
